5FM to host it's annual Love Sucks party this February

This year 5FM found the perfect partner in the super trendy Opel Adam, the event sponsor, who will play a very pivotal role in this year’s party.

Sticking to what the station knows best, this year sees the return of speed dating as 5FM plays cupid to party-goers with an Adam and Eve themed party in Johannesburg, Ballito, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth – all on Saturday, 13 February. And if you’re not into speed dating - that’s still cool, 5FM DJ’s will keep you on the dance floor all night. Entry into the respective clubs are R55 and available for pre-sale at www.quicket.co.za with all proceeds going towards national youth leadership development organisation loveLife.

Party-goers will have to pre-register to participate in the speed dating aspect of the event, which will include one of the dates inside the Opel Adam – with a 5FM personality. At each of the four events, three experiential zones will be set up for participants to engage with the event theme and complete a challenge or activity in order to win cool prizes.

Other party games include a good old fashioned dating game where either a guy or a girl will have to choose from three eligible partygoers from behind a screen as well as kissing booths where participants will get to smooch one of the good looking event promoters. All proceeds donated to the Kissing Booth will be added to 5FM’s Youngblood5 initiative. Youngblood5 is the CSI arm of the station.

The venues will be transformed into the Garden of Eden to set the scene.
