London-based, Alexi Wheeler, senior director of Development and Production for Nickelodeon International will join a panel of speakers from Nickelodeon Africa to discuss how the channel works with animators from all over the world.
Joining Wheeler will be Tasania Parsadh, channel director, Nickelodeon, Nicktoons and Nick Jr and Pippa Tshabalala, senior on air producer, Comedy Central / Nickelodeon / Nicktoons.
Nickelodeon has also partnered with Animation South Africa to sponsor the
CTIAF Student Awards, offering two students the opportunity to go to the Nickelodeon Animation Studios, in Burbank, California for a two-week work experience session. Winners of the animation competition will be announced at the
CTIAF Student Awards on Friday, 19 February.
The
Cape Town International Animation Festival takes place from Friday, 19 to Sunday, 21 February at the River Club in Cape Town.
