The category is open to all advertising mediums and focuses exclusively on any advertisement that has originally been conceptualised and created in Afrikaans.

The entry deadline for the awards has been extended to Friday, 11 August. All work commercially published, announced, or broadcast for the first time between 1 August 2016 and Monday, 31 July may be entered.

Finalists will be announced on Tuesday, 19 September and the winners will be announced at the gala event at Vodacom World on Friday, 27 October.
