Part of the relaunch included formulating SBR Cream hampers for media and competition purposes. These were custom-designed, SBR Cream-branded cosmetic bags from the Lou Harvey range.

SBR Creams brand Manager, Phiwo Mabunu, says, "We know that to own a customised Lou Harvey product is in its own right a real drawcard. Using colours that match our brand, Lou, with her usual vision and excellence, has managed to create a vibrant product that complements our product perfectly."

Mabunu adds, "The recipients of these packs are not only going to be blown away by their gorgeous limited edition cosmetic bag, and other accessories, but once they have tried and tested our product, they’ll also be fans of our SBR Repair and Lipocream brands too. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and have already seen the benefits of partnering the two products."

The hampers will be distributed to specially selected media and used in a series of print and online competitions as part of a launch strategy initiated by Janna Strang at PRomote Communication in Durban.

"When I was approached by Phiwo to relaunch the SBR Cream products, Lou instantly came to mind as the perfect partner. This project has been a true indication of what is possible when quality brands collaborate to increase visibility and step outside the proverbial box," says Strang.

Harvey, who has been creating her fashion accessories for over a decade now, adds, "We are so thrilled that we could find a home for the SBR Creams in our cosmetic bags. The two are a match made in heaven and create a high-quality visual appeal. It’s also been exciting to experiment with additional accessories by creating customised facecloths and headbands to add to the product hampers, based on the client’s specific needs."
