"We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with Digify Africa and Facebook to showcase the benefits of using digital marketing to improve business performance," says Dene Botha, MD and founder of Pride Factor Academy.

"Having an in-depth understanding of the platforms available to reach your target market in a selective and cost-effective manner is invaluable, especially given the proliferation of online content," Botha adds.

"As Digify, the reason behind our collaboration with Pride Factor Academy is its constant work with the youth of South Africa in imparting knowledge and skills," says Keneilwe Malotle, Boost with Facebook project manager, Digify Africa.

"Our 'Boost with Facebook' programme is built on the same foundation of helping youth be successful, and we want to show young business owners that they can achieve great accomplishments when using the Facebook family of apps," Malotle adds.

The 'Boost with Facebook' workshop will run from Tuesday, 25 to Thursday, 27 August, from 16:00 to 17:30 daily. It will be restricted to a maximum of 100 participants. Each session covers a unique topic and will be fully interactive with participants able to converse with presenters and fellow attendees countrywide. Dates and topics are:
  • Tuesday, 25 August: 'Using WhatsApp to grow your business'
  • Wednesday, 26 August: 'Finding new customers using Instagram'
  • Thursday, 27 August: 'Discover online tools to drive your business'
