According to Game, the idea was to visually demonstrate that the introduction of its Price Beat Promise to its month-long Black November promotion for the first time.
The promotion guarantees consumers the lowest possible price in the market on any item stocked at Game, with 10% back on the difference between the prices.
The video is narrated by comedian and actor Nicholas Goliath.
"Game was South Africa's most Googled retailer for Black Friday in 2019 and 2020 — and continues to be a popular choice for consumers all over the country," says Katherine Madley, vice president of marketing at Game.
"This is an extremely busy time in the marketing landscape, with consumers often feeling overwhelmed by the number of retailers showcasing their deals. In 2021, we reimagined this momentous day on the retail calendar by extending our promotion into four sets of weekly deals," adds Madley.
"In 2021, we wanted to communicate the introduction of our Price Beat Promise to Black November in a way that would stand out and make it clear that we are challenging the competition.
