Hulisani Ravele and Lusky Nkohla will continue to host the weekend agenda on 947 Weekend Breakfast. The duo is on every Saturday and Sunday between 07:00 and 10:00.

Greg and Lucky will host the new weekend offering, The Big Weekend on Saturdays and Sundays (14:00 to18:00).

"947 is excited to launch its revamped weekend line-up this September. The station will be out and about in Joburg more often, immersing itself into the spaces where our audiences are to ensure that we are constantly part of our listeners' lives, and sharing great moments together with them," says Thando Makhunga, station manager for 947.

Saturday line-up:

Zweli will count down the biggest South African and global hits on the Coca-Cola Top 40 SA from 10:00 to 14:00. The chart show strives to have the 'biggest interviews, freshest artists and all the trending entertainment stories'.

Karabo Ntshweng will host the 947 Bloc Party from 18:00 to 21:00. Chrizz Beatz will host a hip hop & R&B party show with guest mixes from 21:00 to midnight.

Sunday line-up:

Mmasea Petje will host from 10:00 to 14:00, offering listeners the 'perfect Sunday music mix'. Euphonik will host eUnite from 18:00 to 20:00. The two-hour mix show delivers a 'weekly dose of the hottest house hits' from South Africa and across the globe.

"There will be far more engagement and interaction with listeners, offering improved opportunities for commercial brands. Whether it is a music festival, sporting or lifestyle events, 947 will become part of the soundtrack to great Joburg living," concludes Makhunga.
