James Lennox and Bridget Masinga have been announced as host and co-host of Temptation South Africa, M-Net’s first game show since Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in 2000. The show’s presenters are a key component to the format, as they guide contestants on their way to winning cash and fabulous prizes. The show will be aired daily at 18:30 from 25 September. Capetonian James Lennox began his broadcasting career on Good Hope FM. He progressed from contributing to M-Net’s Red Nose Day to anchoring the Mr Price Pro surfing event in Durban. He co-hosted MTN Gladiators with Ursula “Brown Sugar” Stapelfeldt, and in 2005 established a new division of Sports marketing and entertainment company, Octagon, called Impanzi Productions. Durbanite Bridget Masinga first staked her claim to the limelight by being named as runner-up in the 2002 Miss South Africa contest. She was offered a spot on M-Net youth channel GO!, and in 2005 she grabbed an early-morning spot on YFM. The show will see each player be given a small amount of money with which to start the game. Players are asked a series of questions, but have to hit the buzzer first to answer them. A correct answer increases the player's score; an incorrect answer decreases it. At the end of the game, the player with the highest score is given the opportunity to ‘go shopping’ for some big prizes. Contestants will also be faced with the ultimate prize of a large sum of money. Don’t miss Temptation South Africa, weekdays at 18:30 from 25 September, only on M-Net.
