The strategically crafted programme, with a solid investment of R60-million from CSA, provide playing infrastructure facilities and offer a formalised progressive competition platform that develops quality black African cricketers, working towards CSA’s mission to make cricket a truly national sport of winners.

“CSA was looking for an agency that is in tune with transformation in South Africa, and which would be able to assist in reaching the right audiences with its messaging about the RPC and Hubs Programme,” says PR Powerhouse managing director, Lebo Madiba. “We have a wealth of experience in conceptualising and implementing special projects and programmes, and look forward to working with CSA on this exciting initiative.”

PR Powerhouse, which was launched in 2011, provides media relations, corporate communications and reputation management services.

Among many other things, the agency is behind the Novo Nordisk Cycle4Diabetes relay - a cycle marathon that takes place between Johannesburg and Cape Town in November every year. Cycle4Diabetes raises funds to provide life-saving treatment for underprivileged children living with diabetes.

“PR Powerhouse is a dynamic agency with a plugged-in approach,” says Madiba. “We aim to leverage off all aspects of the PR mix in innovative and creative ways, and know we will be able to bring a fresh approach to this new initiative. In other words, watch this space.”
