The SABRE Awards recognises achievement in branding, reputation and engagement. The 'African print' themed gala event was hosted in Kigali, Rwanda as part of the African Public Relations Association’s annual conference on Thursday, 16 May.

"It is an honour to be awarded for the results of the decade long reputation measurement and management partnership with the Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA). The IWMSA is a prime example of how a strategic, research-based approach to reputation can have a positive impact on organisational growth and sustainability," says le Roux.

Reputation Matters’ reputation research tool, the Repudometer®, aims to scientifically measure and quantify organisations’ reputations based on an assessment of 10 elements.

The Repudometer® also aims to measure the strength of an organisation’s stakeholder relationships, determine gaps in different business areas which may be impacting reputation negatively and how to implement results-oriented and research-based communication solutions.
