Morvite was approached by the primary school to help with a donation for the under privileged learners. The school has a feeding scheme which caters for about 300 learners on average. The feeding scheme has been running for two years and started because the school believed that the children needed a good start to their day. This fits in perfectly with the Morvite brand positioning. Morvite believes children can go further in their day once they have had Morvite porridge for breakfast because it is filled with essential vitamins and minerals.

In addition, Morvite took the Umama Nami team to Rydavale Primary school to put on an educational show for the pupils of the school and give back to the community. Morvite believes it is important that we give the children of South Africa the best opportunities to go as far as they can in life and to achieve the best they possibly can. Learning and education is important in order to achieve this, and since Morvite values the importance of education we thought this would be a great initiative to get involved with. In addition, Morvite will be supplying the school with Morvite Original stock for breakfast for every second week of the month for the next coming three months.

Mrs Sarojini Chetty, principal of Rydavale Primary School is grateful for the donation. “Whenever we serve Morvite at the school the children go back for second and thirds and their favourite flavour is strawberry,” says Chetty. “We would like to thank Morvite for assisting our school and giving our pupils this wonderful experience. Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray,” concludes Chetty.
