Last year Adams and Adams not only became a partner of The Loeries Awards, but became the Loeries official attorneys as well.

Mariette du Plessis, partner at Adams and Adams says, “We are very proud to be associated with the Loeries. Being involved in bringing the Travelling Exhibition to The Open Window is an opportunity to showcase the best of brand communication to a Pretoria audience.”

As a firm specialising in the protection of brands, copyright, designs and patents, du Plessis says they want to encourage and promote the protection of creativity, particularly in the broader field of brand communication.

Adams and Adams will host the opening function of the exhibition at The Open Window on 10 May. This is a free event for students, lecturers and industry professionals and will include prize give-aways. The Loerie Awards CEO, Andrew Human, will give a talk on the exciting changes taking place this year, including the growth of the awards and creative week in Cape Town, new categories introduced, as well as tips on how to win a Loerie. This talk will benefit anyone wishing to enter the Loeries this year. Attendees stand a chance of walking away with a copy of the 33rd Loeries Annual, a creative short course at The Open Window and a free trademark consultation and registration, courtesy of Adams and Adams.

“The Open Window is proud to once again host the Loeries Travelling Exhibition as we support The Loerie Award's recognition for excellence in the design, media and production industries,” says Janette Engelbrecht, navigator at The Open Window. “The opening of the exhibition will be an exciting event, to be attended by many students, alumni and our partners in the Visual Communications industry.”
