Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry chooses a Z-CARD for the Durban Business Fair

eThekwini Municipality has witnessed the substantial growth of its premier business expo, the Durban Business Fair, since its establishment 14 years ago.

This unique business expo offers businesses from different sectors and various government departments and agencies, non-governmental organisations and education institutions a strategic platform to showcase their products and services.

It is the biggest business fair in South Africa and the ideal platform for small businesses to interact with potential clients, big business, and government support and procurement departments.

“The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a vibrant organisation, which is fortunate enough to function in a rapidly growing region. Durban’s position as an established economic hub due to its port, together with the current infrastructure development occurring in the region, makes the business sector all the more significant,” says the Durban Chamber’s marketing and communications manager, Bradley Waltman.

The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry has mushroomed, from its small beginnings in 1856 to a substantial association, with a membership of over 3 500 businesses, respected by its sister chambers throughout the country.

“We continue to add value to our chamber members through our robust interactions and partnerships with both the private and public sector. These initiatives are over and above the many great services offered by the Chamber, as well the business information that we offer our members and stakeholders,” says Waltman.

“We selected a Z-CARD^® as a communication medium to get our message across to our target audiences as it’s user friendly and compact, and people can refer to it regularly,” he adds.

The Z-CARD^® has been designed with die-cut half moons on the covers, for representatives to insert their business card when promoting the Durban Chamber of Commerce. “This ensures a compact marketing tool for maximum impact and retention,” says Waltman.

The Z-CARD^®'s were distributed from the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s stand at the Durban Business Fair, and will be handed out at other events.
