African Sky Media (ASM) is a close corporation focused on developing and endorsing effective marketing, promotion and communication through various media platforms.
Its publishing division currently publishes the glossy lifestyle magazine
DeKat. Launched 28 years ago as the first up-market Afrikaans magazine,
DeKat has always been ASM's flagship publication and has allowed the company to pave the way for what is today a multifaceted publishing house, successfully catering for and communicating to a multi-cultural audience in a media-rich South Africa.
Since the end of 2006,
DeKat has also been published in English. The magazine not only provides a feast of entertainment news, but is also in tune and on track with current affairs and controversial issues. It is also the first magazine to have its own TV programme and charity trust.
