A total of 187 countries participated in 2014 in the
Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. The titles that have won include:
Bake with Josh which won the Best Pastry and Desserts Cookbook award;
Perfect Parties won the entertaining category;
Easy Cooking from Nina’s Kitchen won the Best Blogger category;
Weber Braai Bible won Best Seller Barbecue;
Savannah to Sea won the Best Africa Cookbook;
Cooked in the Karoo won the Best Culinary Travel Cookbook; and
Roads Less Travelled won the Best Television Cookbook category.
The winner in each country will compete against winners in the same category in other countries for
The Best in the World title. The results will be announced on Tuesday, 9 June at the annual Awards event. It will take place in Yantai, China, on the Wine Bay beach.
