Senior designer Emile Rohlandt’s individual award for Best Creative, marks the second year in a row that someone from Hellocomputer has won this category, and reflects the agency’s commitment to the best creative talent in the industry.

It is also pleased with its two Silvers for Investec Asset Management and is encouraged by the Bronze for Social Feed, an initiative that is only just starting to gain traction.

Investec Asset Management’s Investment Institute flagship publication, The Institute Journal, is designed to target, globally, the top tier of investors and financial thinkers, through diverse perspectives, forward thinking and a critical analysis of key trends and issues that shape the economic, political and investment landscape. Also published as a printed book, the challenge for Hellocomputer was to push the boundaries of how it could reach a broader audience in a digital format.

Tom Hawksfield, marketing manager at Investec Asset Management, is thrilled with The Institute Journal’s success: “We are delighted to hear that the digital version of the Journal has been recognised with two silver Bookmarks awards. It’s testament to the publication’s quality content and Hellocomputer’s ability to translate that content into the digital arena.”

For Social Feed, a new media platform for good, Hellocomputer is putting the power into the user’s hands. It developed a new media platform that literally turns media budgets into feeding budgets. Every time someone shares from the platform, to their Facebook or Twitter newsfeed, a meal is given to a child who needs it, through non-profit organisation, the Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA).

Essentially, it’s an innovative way for brands to market themselves on social media and giving users a say in which brands advertise on their social feeds, all while feeding some very hungry school kids.

“We believe the judges award Bookmarks to work that they believe shows creative excellence and delivers measurable results especially when they see an idea that redefines the category. As such, it is an honour to take home four 2015 Bookmarks Awards,” said Hellocomputer’s managing director, David Moffatt.

“Congratulations, too, to all 2015 Bookmarks winners for their ground breaking work which contributes to the exciting transformation and development of South Africa's digital marketing landscape. It’s an honour and a privilege to stand beside you all.”
