TV presenter and media personality Tracey Lange will now present the mid-morning show. Lange is known for her infectious energy and boisterous laugh which is seriously contagious.

Newly appointed managing director Renee Redelinghuys says Lange is a great addition to the Heart family. “We are excited about Lange joining the team as we believe she will bring a fresh energy and look forward to further growing the station’s listener base through this. We from time to time assess our offering to ensure we have the best talent to represent the brand.”

The rest of the week-day line-up stays the same with Clarence Ford hosting his Lunchbox between Noon and 15:00 and the #Drive326 team with Suga, Nick and Keri driving one home between 15:00 and 18:00. Diggy Bongz takes care of In the Mix from 18:00 to 22:00 and Irma G takes listeners into the break of dawn with Nightshift from 22:00 to 02:00.

The Weekday Wake-Up also sees a line-up change as JP Carelse moves in behind the microphone between 04:00 and 06:00. He will also take care of one’s party needs with the Weekend Party on Saturday’s from 22:00 to 01:00.

The station has been providing the soundtrack to the lives of the residents of the Mother City and surrounding areas for the last 17 years. Redelinghuys says the focus for 2015 is growing the listener base in the footprint area. “The extended transmitter network has afforded the station the opportunity to connect with the greater part of the Western Cape. We are now within the heart of these communities and connected with our extended heart family.”
