St Theresa’s Home was established in 1925 by the Augustinian Sisters and provides specialised care for orphaned and vulnerable boys from 13 to 18-years-old from poor communities across the KwaZulu-Natal province.

This particular home is also very close to the company’s heart as kitchen manager, Tony Roberts called St Theresa’s his home for 15 years. Together with the team at Blue Strawberry, they wanted to give back what the school had given him and so many other children.

The team prepared a scrumptious meal of chicken minestrone casserole with butternut fritters, chocolate as well as cheese croissants for 72 of the children who reside there, including 12 caregivers and teachers. To end the meal, the children also got to enjoy a delicious cake baked by Tony Roberts.
