Lynch is currently touring the Eastern Cape and receiving interviews on stations across the province on an almost daily basis. The single has now been sampled to stations across the country and will receive nationwide airplay soon.

“We knew Thandiwe was going to be a hit right after we were done with the recording. Emotions and excitement was all over the studio, everyone was singing along. We planned for a performance on the very same day. We played in once and the crowd started singing along ‘Ndikufuna aphi 'ntwibila/Zakujonga xa ndikujonga’, that is when we realised that the song is going to be big. It is such a great feeling when you play a song to a crowd for the first time and they immediately fall in love with it,” says Lynch.

The Xhosa to English translation Thandiwe means ‘loved one’, so one can refer to the person that one loves as one’s Thandiwe. It is therefore a great song to dedicate to one’s loved ones. The lyrics are very simple and catchy, and they carry the most important lyrical meaning about the power of love and dreams.
