The inaugural event kicks off at Noon and Lee Herrmann, author of the dystopian novel Journal of a South African Apocalypse, will be in attendance to talk about his novel and sign copies.

“Anyone into horror or zombies has to stop by and get a copy of the book,” says Hermann. He says there will be a live zombie to pose for photographs with and a ‘draw of the dead’ raffle. The book will be on sale for R120 and there will also be limited Journal of a South African Zombie Apocalypse merchandise on sale on sale courtesy of Zombie Run SA.

The event will also feature a cosplay, fandom merchandise, food, Supernatural TV Show episode viewings, an onsite tattoo artist, photo studio, a talk by a ghost hunter and a tarot card reader.
