Sixteen supporters of the ODCCC and 16 SAPS members will be walking from Durban to Johannesburg on the Saturday, 2 May. A send-off ceremony will take place at the Durban City Hall steps at 06:00 with a short address by the eThekwini Municipality, SAPS, ODCCC and The Human Trafficking Task Team.

The walkers will be on the road for six days, stopping at Lions River, Winterton, Kestell, Tweeling and Deneysville before reaching Johannesburg where a message from the Mayor of Durban, Honourable James Nxumalo, will be handed over to the City of Johannesburg.
