A social calendar highlight, visitors will be able to sip, sample and savour some of the Franschhoek’s wines in the comfort of the Food and Wine Marquee, situated at the Huguenot Monument - a venue with mountain backdrops, and ample parking within walking distance.

Entrance tickets cost R200 per person, which includes a complimentary tasting glass, a booklet of tasting coupons as well as a R20 wine voucher to be used on the day. Additional coupons can be purchased on the day. Pre-booking through www.webtickets.co.za is essential, as no more visitors will be admitted once the marquee is full.

Kitted out in its finest French flare the town is a hive of activities, which includes the popular Franschhoek Boules Tournament, the Delta Valley Entertainers as well as the Porcupine Ridge Barrel Rolling Competition. Other not to be missed attractions are the Farmers Markets in the Town Hall and the Church grounds, with musicians and carnival performers adding to the festival experience.
