Carl Schultz, celebrated winemaker at Hartenberg Estate, and widely regarded as one of South Africa’s oldest and leading producers of Shiraz for more than 40 years, has invited a select group of winemakers to showcase their wines at this indulgent day of Shiraz and Charcuterie. Together with some of the country’s finest charcuterie masters, cheese makers and olive enthusiasts visitors will be able to experience a food and wine-pairing feast.

This is the perfect excuse to taste Hartenberg’s internationally acclaimed Shiraz wines, which includes the Hartenberg Estate Shiraz, the limited release Gravel Hill and the popular, Doorkeeper Shiraz.

And to ensure that one doesn’t go hungry chefs from various restaurants, bistros and cafés will work their magic as they prepare delicious food to entice palates and complement this beautiful varietal. These offerings will be complemented with a selection of freshly baked breads and olives.

Tickets are available directly from www.webtickets.co.za at a cost of R180 per person, and includes the entrance fee as well as wine tastings.

Joostenberg Deli is situated on the R304 just off the N1 in the direction of Paarl.
