In addition she has won three APEX Awards and has also been part of the judging panel for two consecutive years.

“As CSO, I have the opportunity to work with smart, passionate and motivated people from our PR, media, digital, BTL, ATL and Sports and Entertainment businesses. It is a much more effective way to solve business, social and sales problems. When it comes to the Havas Village, the whole is truly greater than the sum of the parts,” she adds.

The opportunity to work in a regional role in Africa is also something that appeals to Boxall-Davies. “Africa truly is the final growth frontier and there is a need for smart, creative and meaningful solutions for brands to succeed in markets across the continent. So I’m looking forward to that as well.”

Havas Southern Africa’s CEO, Lynn Madeley adds, “Strategy is an exceptionally important part of our business. Lou is at the top of her game and we are delighted she has chosen to join the Havas team. There are exciting times ahead.”
