More than 50 of the Johannesburg’s best food trucks and vendors are set to line up at the festival for all-day feasting and for the first time ever, Zomato will list all the participating food traders to help guide the foodies.

With a feast of food at this year’s festival, it has become evident that the food line-up at the DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival is as important as the music line-up.

The festival’s collaboration with Zomato aims at making the Delicious Market experience totally seamless.

Themed ‘Feast of Cultures’, the Delicious Market is set to take food lovers on a taste journey across the globe - with street food, inspired and influenced by diverse cultures and experiences.

All food stalls and trucks will be listed on Zomato before and during the event so that festival goers can browse through the large selection of food that will be available beforehand and also rate and review traders in real time on the day.

Zomato SA country manager, Heino Gehle says the discovery app is always looking to collaborate with businesses that have congruent styles and offerings. “The partnership between Zomato and the DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival, presented by Nedbank is an exciting one and a step forward for the food and technology industry.”

“Through partnerships such as this one, Zomato is able to provide consumers with so much more.  Partnerships facilitates shared effort and shared success. We look forward to working with a great bunch of people at a successful event,” he adds.

DStv Delicious promises both a feast of food as well as world-class entertainment from a line-up that includes multiple award winning Queen of Funk Chaka Khan, house musicians Louie Vega and Drizabone, alongside local music acts Vusi Mahlasela, Muzart, The Muffinz and DJ Unathi Nkayi.
