Fanta strategic marketing manager Elizabeth Moroldo says; “The Fanta brand is centred on play and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. For this reason, we chose to team up with KO and local artist, DJ Whiskey as our campaign brand ambassadors. KO and DJ Whiskey have built their reputations around living healthy and active lifestyles while being top players in the local music industry.”

Each event will include different interactive areas, representing the Fanta flavours – Grape, Orange and Pineapple – and different elements of play.

“For those interested in entertainment, the Fanta Grape zone is definitely for you. This area gives teenage participants the opportunity to explore what the world of entertainment has to offer with a complete VJ experience. This area will also educate teenagers on public image responsibility and how the South African youth can learn to speak their mind with confidence and pave their way to success in the entertainment industry,” says Moroldo.

“The Fanta Orange zone has even more playful fun in store with an area dedicated to getting active. Our Fanta friends will be encouraged to have fun while learning the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle,” says Moroldo. This zone will also include the Fanta dance area where dancers will teach the interactive and playful Fanta-Cise dance to embrace the spirit of the Whatsyourflava #Fantatastelike campaign.

“Bound to get the attention and applause of onlookers, groups of Fanta fans will be able to practice the Fanta-Cise Dance and add their own moves or variations to make it their own. Groups who think they have the moves to win the Fanta-Cise dance competition will then battle it out to win some awesome prizes on the day,” adds Moroldo.

The Fanta Pineapple zone is about being social. Complete with a snack bar and comfortable Fanta-coloured furniture, this area sets the scene for participants to get to know each other better. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about enjoying social media responsibly and protecting themselves from cyber bullying.

“We are extremely excited to be embarking on the 2015 Fanta WhatsyourFlava #Fantatastelike campaign and encourage all teenagers to watch this space to see when we will be coming to their area,” concludes Moroldo.
