Engen has announced that local lad, Jimmy Nevis, and multiple award-winning house band, Mi Casa, will perform at the race festival at the Cape Town Stadium forecourt on Saturday, 7 November.

Born and raised on the Cape Flats, singer/songwriter, Jimmy Nevis shot to nation-wide stardom with a number of hit singles, including Elephant Shoes, Heartboxing, and 7764.

Joining Nevis will be the SAMA award winning, Mi Casa. The Johannesburg-based band first rose to fame in 2011 following the release of their debut album These Streets.

Over and above the musical offerings, spectators can expect high-impact short circuit cycle racing, global YouTube sensation Danny MacAskill’s Drop and Roll show, kid’s entertainment, gourmet food stalls and more.

Spectator entry to Cycle in the City is free of charge but limited and all complimentary tickets need to be booked via www.webtickets.co.za and presented on the day to guarantee admittance.
