The LBOC Fund placed 130 matric students from disadvantaged backgrounds into universities across Gauteng this year and has now embarked on another fundraising campaign to place disadvantaged students, currently doing matric this year, into tertiary institutions in 2016.

The Women of Valour Celebration event is just the first of many fundraising events that the LBOC Fund will host. Purchase your ticket in support of educating the country’s youth, and network with women who are passionate about playing their role in uplifting the country.

“With it being Women’s Month, we felt a woman centered event would be appropriate as our first fundraiser this month. Over the past year we have had unwavering support from women from all walks of life and felt it was time that we celebrated them. We have amazing speakers on the line-up and hope as many women as possible can join us on Women’s Day” expresses Penny Mpanza, LBOC Fund chairperson and founding CEO.

The LBOC Fund, which launched in July 2014, is about to go on a second road show, this time to the KwaZulu-Natal to speak to and motivate matric students to apply to university and for the LBOC Fund. The LBOC Fund aims to put 250 matric students through university starting in 2016.
