The SA Oliver Empowerment Awards honoured Chauke at a prestigious award ceremony held at the Emperor’s Palace on Thursday, 14 April 2016.

The awards aim to recognize companies and individuals for their contribution and commitment to empowerment in South Africa, acknowledging the efforts of businesses, civil society, the public sector and truly outstanding individuals.

Chauke, whose history in marketing stems over a decade, is best known for his mainstream thinking and effervescent approach to brand strategy and delivery of hands-on client support on a scope of areas.

“There are many young entrepreneurs who wake up every morning to open doors to their enterprises. As a country, we need to stimulate youth owned business in driving transformation, innovation and much needed jobs,” said Chauke.

“This category is important in recognising the work that young people contribute in business and it is an honor to be the recipient Top Empowered Young Achiever Award this year. Being an entrepreneur under 40 is a responsibility I take very seriously and I thank the Oliver Awards for certifying my efforts with this award.”

Ryland Fisher, associate partner of the Oliver Empowerment Awards, stated that the judges’ criteria revolved mainly around identifying exceptional empowerment initiatives that are successfully implemented by entrants.

“The winners represent South Africa’s trailblazers in the business industry, setting the precedent for transformation in business while growing from strength to strength” added Fisher.

And strength to strength has been proven in the numerous awards that Chauke has managed to seal. In 2015, he set the marketing space ablaze and his industry peers saluted his efforts. From the AABLAs, The Maverick Awards and a win from The SA Premier Business Awards, his trail has been blazing consistently and shows no sign of slowing down.

The marketing eye is on Chauke and his dynamo team to continue making strides with their value, skills and energy.
