Both have worked within the agency for a number of years, but each come from a diverse background. Director of operations Bjorn, with a hospitality management background, brings with him exceptional customer oriented service and staff management skills. He also has a strong drive for quality. Brigitta meanwhile, who is director of Client Services, comes from a business management background, which is complimented by her creative flair. She had a career in management consulting with Deloitte and thereafter finished her MBA at University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business.

Brigitta explains that they’re excited about what this new chapter and their management will offer clients: “As part of our fresh new approach we’re embracing change, new technology and new ways of doing things. This has been very well received by our existing clients because it’s almost like them getting a new agency, without having to change agencies, and at the same time we still understand their fundamental marketing principals.”

The directors are resolute that Creative Zoo Advertising will maintain their client-focused engagement. Bjorn explains: “We pride ourselves on being flexible to our clients’ needs because of our size. We will continue to offer big agency thinking and capabilities with the agility of a medium-sized ad agency.”

The company, which was started in 1992, grew from a project management company for print, packaging and publishing to a fully-fledged design agency in the mid-nineties. Remarkably, their original and very first client, Scorpion Legal Protection, is still one of their clients today.

This dynamic pair has successfully landed numerous new accounts in their short time at the helm. Creative Zoo Advertising recently became Eltherm South Africa’s marketing and advertising agency, fulfilling all the marketing and advertising requirements for the heat tracing company. CZA have played an integral role in positioning the organisation in the South African market, including launching the company in South Africa.
