“Grey is happy to have young go-getters, who are happy to put in the hard work and have aimed to learn whenever possible in their journey with Grey. The promotions are well deserved,” says Marc Lax, Client Service Business Unit Director at Grey.

“We are very pleased with the outstanding work ethic and fresh perspective that they have showed as interns. We can only be proud of them as they develop and provide valuable input to the entire agency,” he adds.

Another Grey Africa promotion was awarded to Nicolene Scott who has been promoted to digital account director.

Although Scott works primarily with the Volvo team, she has also gained considerable experience on the digital side in the last few years.
She will help the agency to further develop its growing portfolio digital offering. She has just under a decade’s worth of successful advertising and marketing experience. Her BTL and TTL knowledge is intertwined with a special focus on digital marketing. Enjoying the challenges that digital marketing brings forward on a daily basis, Scott believes that every day is a new opportunity to learn.

In her new role, Scott will help grow the digital leg of the Volvo business as well as the rest of the Grey client portfolio. She will continue to grow and expand on her knowledge and experience in digital media arena.

“I am very excited to be expanding on my passion for digital, especially digital media. I look forward to being part of the team’s many great digital executions. Watch this space,” she says.

Paul Jackson, managing director at Grey Africa says “We are very pleased with our promotions. With the agency’s growing stature and increasing assignments, we strive to ensure that our staff complement is seamlessly aligned to what Grey aims to achieve - delivering famously effective work for our clients.”
