Die storie agter die Huisgenoot-storie will allow both curious and fanatical readers to hear things about Huisgenoot they never knew. Most, for example, believe the magazine’s fame is triggered by a sensational nature, but editor Henriëtte Loubser believes this is not entirely true.

“We aren’t actually a sensational magazine. We are an emotional magazine,” she says.
