Crowster, who won the hearts of South African reality TV audiences with her soulful and energetic performances on The Voice SA, is set to take to the stage in her home town in a showcase entitled, A Night out With Lana Crowster.

The show is set to have the perfect fusion of R&B, soul, funk, jazz and hip-hop songs, and she promises to keep audiences on their feet all night long.

“I look forward to performing songs that have inspired me as well as showcasing my own music,” she says.

Crowster is no stranger to the big stage, having performed at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival in April after winning ESP Afrika’s “Young Legends” competition.

Having worked in the South African music and entertainment industry over the past 14 years, Crowster has performed alongside the likes of top music acts such as Toya Delazy, Karen Zoid, Chad Saaiman, Mario Ogle, Zolani Mahola (Freshly Ground), Arno Carstens and even sang backup for Josh Groban and George Benson, on their respective tours to South Africa.

The passionate singer, songwriter, and arranger is set to entertain Cape Town audiences with her three-night run of A Night out With Lana Crowster. In 2014, Lana independently released her début EP entitled Seasons, which fans will see her perform hits from, as well as a few “additional surprises” throughout the evening.

“My style of music is eclectic so I always enjoy mixing things up on stage during my performances. I love singing some of my favourite songs that have played an important part in my own life, as well as giving audiences the opportunity to hear my own music too,” she says.

Music lovers can catch A Night out With Lana Crowster at The Roxy Revue Bar at Grand West Casino on Thursday, 13 October to Saturday, 15 October at 20:00.

Tickets can be purchased from Computicket.
