The entertainment extravaganza, that celebrates the soulful sounds of jazz, will be headlined by legendary trumpeter Wynton Marsalis.

Arguably the most notable jazz artist to visit South African shores, Marsalis has won nine Grammy Awards and was the first jazz musician to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music. This international jazz phenomenon will be joined on stage by the Gauteng Jazz Orchestra, The African Soul Sisters and Wanda Baloyi, to name a few.

With the variety and calibre of artists performing, the 2011 Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Festival is guaranteed to be a sell-out. This festival has become one of the social highlights for the city of Johannesburg and is a must-see.
