The editorial team of Move! magazine turned the temperature up with seven of the hottest stars in local television, all featured on the cover of the women’s weekly read on 26 October.
Unafraid of doing things a little differently, Move! editor, Noluthando Gweba-Philisane, better known to readers as Thandi, was determined to get readers hearts racing with this issue. “Move! is well known for featuring some of SA’s most successful and beautiful women, but rarely does the same for men,” says Thandi. “This week’s issue is a celebration of some of the hottest male stars in local television,” she added.
Readers will find their seven hotties steaming up the pages with each going about a different part of their morning routine. While one is checking his emails in bed, another might just have finished his morning shower, while another reads his paper over breakfast. Not only will these guys raise your pulse, but each and every one is wholesome enough to take back home to meet Mom as well.
“We were looking for the kind of guys that not only look amazing but have a healthy set of values as well,” says Thandi “These are not the kind of guys you will find on the cover of the tabloids every weekend. They’re gorgeous and they have a healthy body-healthy mind philosophy.”
So who are the seven Move! hotties? Prepare to get up close and personal with soapie heartthrob Xolisa Xuluva from Generations; jaw-dropping Selimathunzi presenter - Lunga Shabalala; the gorgeous Tazz Nginda from TV drama series Instika; The Wild’s rogue superstar ranger - Melusi Yeni; the naughty but nice - Wright Ngubani from Rhythm City; Lendani Mbense the striking sports anchor from SABC Sport and the irresistible Sesa Hewana, from Isidingo.
“Here at Move! magazine, we’ve realised that our market has evolved, which is why we have gradually continued to introduce a number of design and editorial changes,” says Thandi. “It’s all about ensuring circulation growth by meeting the needs of the evolving black woman.
‘‘We’re giving her so much more than just something to think about,” quips Thandi cheekily. “It’s going to be a fantastic issue and we look forward to the reader feedback,” she concluded.
This sizzling edition of Move! is on sale from 24 October.
