Each episode of Mooiloop will focus on a variety of lifestyle elements, including some local cooking, adventure, tourism and local music. The presenters will use unique modes of transport such as trains, boats, hot air balloons and “donkiekarre” to get to their destinations. Mooiloop will in each episode be graced by well-known guests with special links and interests in the specific destination.

“This is the first time in 15 years that a new show has been introduced as a running mate for the long running Pasella. We look forward to bringing a new experience to our audiences, and Mooiloop is unique in that it engages ordinary citizens of small towns as they take us through their day to days lifestyles, food and music. We will visit towns that have never been fully experienced on television before, including Barrydale, Skeerpoort, and Uniondale,” says SABC2's publicist, Caroline Phalakatshela.

The guest celebrities who are set to accompany the team include Elouise Cupido who will take viewers through Cullinan, actress Kim Cloete visiting Philadelphia, and Jacques Coetzer joining the presenters as they travel through Riebeek Kasteel.

Mooiloop will air from Wednesday, 26 June at 19:30 on SABC2.
