South African band, Overtone, is no more following the split of Clint and Dina Eastwood, reveals celebrity news magazine, heat. Overtone was managed by Dina Eastwood and was known globally thanks to the six band members’ appearance on the reality TV show, Mrs Eastwood & Company, which has now also been cancelled.
heat magazine spoke exclusively to Eduard Janse van Rensburg, a member of the band, who confirmed the news of the break up and said that Overtone decided to take a break and “the break never really ended”.
Andre Neveling, editor of heat, says: “To add insult to injury, poor Eduard had to hear the news after he saw Dina’s Twitter account. Someone asked her on Twitter what happened to the band and she replied that the band was no longer together. Thanks to the reality TV show being such a hit, we were all excited that our South African boys would make it big in America. Sadly, they all had to return to SA as they struggled to make it on their own in LA.”
Janse van Rensburg did however reveal to heat that he has already joined a new group.
