The first six episodes will feature the theatre auditions which consisted of contestants from Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. Watch as hopeful candidates showcase their talents to judges and audiences with the hope of securing that ‘YES’ to get them to the next round. Some contestants fail to impress the judges and audience while others are delighted at the blaze of approval they receive from the judges and the audience.
“Lalla Hirayama and DJ Fresh excel in their roles as new judges in this season of
SA’s Got Talent. Accompanied and guided by Shado Twala, they are entertaining and connect with the contestants and the audience on a new level,” says Keshni Rajoo, head of local productions at e.tv.
“The judges definitely don’t hold back on their thoughts on contestants, and viewers can expect both humorous and heated moments amongst the three judges. The show takes a new and fresh approach to the most loved talent search in the country, so viewers can look forward to the amazing level of talent and entertainment from young and not so young contestants in this new season of
SA’s Got Talent.”
Expect many assumptions to be crushed as the judges bring the unexpected to the table in their interactions and reactions to contestants. Nkonzo’s funny side is seen throughout the show as he interviews and interacts with the contestants before and after they take the stage. Sometimes he’s congratulating them, other times he is comforting them. Watch the show to find out who will make it.
