This is the sequel to the Chevy Chase-starring, 80s cult favourite comedy series of Vacation films. Set in 2015, Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms), is all grown-up with a family of his own. Rusty’s first time at Walley World capped off one of the greatest trips of his childhood, and he wants to recreate that excitement with his family.

Following in his father Clark’s (Chevy Chase) footsteps, and hoping for some much-needed family bonding, Rusty surprises his wife Debbie (Christina Applegate) and their two sons James (Skylar Gisondo) and Kevin (Steele Stebbins), with a cross-country trip to Walley World. What could be more fun than spending quality time together, in a state-of-the-art rental car with plenty of stops along the way to see the sights and visit family? Nothing. Nothing is more fun than that. So, what could possibly go wrong?

The film also stars Beverly D’Angelo, Chris Hemsworth, Keenan-Michael Key, Leslie Mann, Michael Pena and Regina Hall. It is directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Horrible Bosses), and produced by David Dobkin.
