The music video comes after Venter publicly invited Norman to record a duet with him. She shared a video of the event on her Facebook page, and her fans’ reaction prompted her to take Venter up on his offer.

Venter says he is in awe of Norman’s voice, and this was one of the contributing factors behind his desire to record a duet with her. He believes her voice is unique, and that it is one of the best voices he has ever performed alongside, international or local.

"I felt that our voices would go well together and the recording proves this”, says Venter. “Andriëtte is also very musical, and this led to the success of this song. Obviously, I also feel that she, like me, attaches a deeper meaning to her career.”
