Kaelo Engage, a Sandton-based content development agency, has been appointed by the Kagiso Trust to roll out its 30 year anniversary celebrations across South Africa.
Kaelo Engage will deliver a fully integrated content campaign to showcase key learnings from Kagiso Trust amongst key stakeholder groups, beneficiaries and the general public. The celebration aims to take South Africans on Kagiso’s extraordinary 30 year journey by showcasing the impact the Trust has had on communities, while sharing and gathering pearls of wisdom.
The communication execution of the campaign will involve stakeholder dialogue events through the hosting of university roadshows, exhibitions, public relations, social media, design, publishing and production. The communication messaging will be centred on the Trust’s key strands which are development, collaboration, innovation and sustainability.
To kick start the Pearls of Wisdom Campaign in February, Kaelo Engage launched the Beyers Naude School Development Programme (BNSDP) essay competition which was extended to Grade 11 students in the Thabo Mofutsanyana District of the Free State. Learners were asked the question “What makes an innovative teacher?” The content gathered from these young future leaders will be used in the programme.
Acting CEO Themba Mola of Kagiso Trust says; “We are confident that Kaelo Engage will deliver a memorable communications campaign and drive our four key messages of development, collaboration, innovation and sustainability which are the four key strands that Kagiso Trust is built on. We will also be approaching universities to partner and host exhibitions accompanied by panel discussions collaboratively with the objective of sharing key learnings over the years and ensure that youth and community voices are heard.”
Sarah Campbell, managing director of Kaelo Engage says; “We are delighted to work with Kagiso Trust on delivering engaging content across targeted platforms. With our expertise in social responsible communication we will deliver great results as well as a memorable 30th anniversary celebration.
