X/procure® raises Boehringer brand awareness at pharmaceutical level

Multi-National, Boehringer Ingelheim has selected Unlimited’s electronic pharmaceutical procurement and advertising specialist X/procure® to raise its brand awareness where it counts – directly to pharmacists.
During a three month campaign, Boehringer are utilising X/procure®‘s Browser, Announcement Screens, Screensaver and the HTML message service on the electronic ordering platform to communicate directly to more than 1600 Pharmacists nationwide.
JD Henderson managing director at X/procure® says, “Considering that the law prohibits advertising of scheduled medication to the general public, our platforms enable brands to remain within the law, target the procuring pharmacists and be top of mind when the buying decisions are being made in pharmacies.
X/procure® will ensure repetitive and ongoing brand presence in the pharmacy space, and offer full measurability of each campaign.”
Prescription medicines represents the bulk of Boehringer’s ‘Human Pharmaceuticals’ business and accounts for 77% of total net sales, therefore it is crucial that the brand is top of mind to the pharmacist who remains the final decision maker at the point of purchase.
