Having just turned a year old this month, Mahlohonolo Media & Consulting (MMC), headed by Jeanine Pietersen, has announced their media buying accreditation.
“To any small business, a media buying accreditation certificate is considered the holy grail,” said Jeanine Pietersen, managing director of MMC. The media buying industry is dominated by larger companies in South Africa. However, as the need for entrepreneurship grows stronger as a measure to grow the economy, young players such as MMC are greatly needed and welcomed in creating employment as well as bringing diversity to the sector.
“We are happy to be in a position where we can now offer clients a competitive pricing solution on media planning and buying by eliminating the need of a third party media buying house,” said Pietersen.
Mahlohonolo Media & Consulting is a 100% black woman owned company and was established to provide an integrated media communications solution to clients by engaging through-the-line on all advertising campaigns. The agency’s services range from media campaign development, production, eventing and collateral, offering competitive pricing and excellent service delivery.
Pietersen has worked at some of the top media agencies over the past 15 years - FCB Global Media, The MediaShop, Mediacom and Universal McCann – and serviced some of South Africa’s largest brands such as Absa, Cell C, Edcon, Eskom, General Motors and Microsoft (International)
Mahlohonolo Media & Consulting brings together Pietersen’s extensive experience in synergising campaigns through-the-line from media strategy to planning and media buying.
