Running Comrades? Dis-Chem Benefits has tips from running experts and shows readers the way to cure a host of health niggles, which if neglected could impact negatively on training and level of fitness.

The heart is probably the most important muscle in our bodies – in a bumper cardio feature, Brandon Fairweather reflects and advises on his heart surgery and condition and on how the experience has given him a new perspective on life.

The magazine has also embarked on a major drive to encourage readers to scan their magazines at the point of payment. This is to assist the magazine to better understand readers and help ensure that the topics featured are appropriate and address the needs of its readership. When scanned, the magazine will be charged out at 1c, but in most instances this amount will be negated as a result of Dis-Chem's ‘rounding down’ policy. Benefit card holders, by simply scanning their magazines, will automatically be entered into the draw to win a supplier hamper that can be viewed on page 152.

The Dis-Chem Benefits magazine is available to Dis-Chem Benefit programme members at the in-store customer consultant desks.
