At a young age Buks discovered a beat-making program and started experimenting with different sounds, this is where he was introduced to the idea of production. He was originally part of the production trio, IV LEAGUE, which produced award winning rapper, AKA’s debut album, Alter Ego.
He has since gone on to produce hit singles for Pro, Khuli Chana, AKA, Tuks, Teargas, Solo and many other celebrated local Hip Hop artists.
Buks has previously released two singles titled Finish Line and All the time. He also featured lyrically on singles such as Solo's The Shame and Reason's The Crown, including the upcoming release of Solo’s deluxe version of his album, Dreams. A. Plenty and Tumi’s upcoming album, Return of the King on a song titled Bayete.'
The Minor Syndrome, Buks’ current release expresses being youthful and falling into the idea of not caring too much. "It paints the picture of how we all have that flaw at times no matter how old we are. The minor syndrome," says Biks.
