The launch event will be headlined by the founders of the eminent, EskomSePush app as well as gaming guru and digital entrepreneur, Glenn Gillis, MD of animation and gaming development firm, Sea Monster.

Load-shedding alerts app, EskomSePush has propelled co-founders Herman Maritz and Dan Wells into the digital spotlight. On Thursday, 30 July, this innovative duo will share their experience of being part of South Africa’s digital groundswell. Web development is clearly more than 1’s, 0’s and technical specifications. Gillis will be sharing the secret to successful development projects.

Their presentations will be supplemented by the release of the Development Edition of Heavy Chef’s Quarterly Review magazine. This issue will zero in on e-commerce, collating the opinions and expertise of some of the most respected authorities in the industry, including Andrew Smith from Yuppiechef and Superbalist’s Luke Jedeikin.
