The Outdoor Indaba was established as a platform to discuss transformation and economic development; in particular the challenges that SMMEs face in the industry.
“ADreach has a proud history of SMME development and economic transformation using Street Pole Ads and we welcome this initiative to improve and grow entrepreneurs in the OOH sector,” says ADreach CEO Brad Fisher.
“Further to this, ADreach has been deeply involved in uplifting the youth of Soweto through our Soweto Canoe and Recreation Club (SCARC) project, which has since produced some of South Africa’s top up and coming paddlers,” adds Fisher.
The group’s Wastepreneurs programme was created to support the City of Johannesburg’s green initiatives, while creating jobs for local residents.
“ADreach will continue to seek ways in which our business is able to uplift communities and reshape the space around us,” says Fisher.
This Outdoor Indaba was an important step towards working together in achieving real and diverse value in the industry.
ADreach looks forward to building partnerships with the City and other stakeholders to ensure that the OOH sector is moving forward and embracing sustainable transformation.
