“The renewal of our national Steers Diner footprint, exclusive to our strategic partners, Shell, at selected Shell Ultra Cities, are finally starting with our revamp of Steers Diner at Colesberg. We have put a lot of thought into making sure we become the first choice for consumers travelling on our national roads offering our traditional Steers Take Away offering, as well as a comfortable fast-casual dining experience with a new menu and free Wi-Fi, amongst many of our enhanced offers at this location,” says Adolf Fourie, Steers marketing executive.
The brand hopes to revolutionise roadside dining with the revamped Steers Diner, which has digital menu boards with a variety of menu options to cater to consumers.
The Steers Diner also has a fast-casual dining area that will accommodate visitors who want to relax and take a break from driving. In addition to that, the store is equipped with free Wi-Fi that will allow visitors to surf the net. Children will also get to enjoy the diner’s children's play area.
Visitors can expect a refreshed new menu with a variety of options. “Our menu is one that I am really proud of, and our consumers are spoiled for choice from the variety of new options we have added to the menu,” adds Fourie.
The Steers Diner will have a menu with fresh breakfast options that include the Chicken Cheese Tomato Bacon and Egg Wrap. New sandwich options, including the Chicken Club and Chicken Double Decker, which comes with fried egg, cheese, bacon, mayo lettuce, tomato, gherkins, grilled chicken fillet, and guacamole.
The dessert menu includes Ridiculously Decadent Shakes that come in either Romany Cream or Tex options. The waffle menu has a range of waffles, including traditional with syrup, or another creation with ice cream and chocolate.
