In her previous role at the agency, Dobson headed up the client services division, with an overall responsibility for client profitability and retention. She also oversaw marketing activities and managed internal operations within the agency, aiming to ensure all departments worked together cohesively in delivering on client expectations.

Dobson’s career includes leading and driving the marketing departments for brands such as British Airways, Cell C, and Adidas. A two-year stint at Red Bull Mobile gave her further exposure to processes and practices.

Her experience includes advertising, CRM and direct marketing, branding, loyalty, campaign development, public relations, media, and product management across a range of industries.

"At LUMEN, we are inspired by the potential of digital. However, it does not make sense to offer digital services in isolation to all other types of traditional marketing and marketing channels," says Dobson.

She adds, "Firstly, it is important for us to understand what our clients are doing strategically, from a marketing point of view, and then to understand the role that digital channels can play in this mix, and how our skills and expertise can deliver on this."
