Singh won the Craft Gold for his work for DStv Africa, in collaboration with Studio Zoo, titled Time. The DStv brand film aims to pay homage to the audiences who have grown up with the brand and have made it what it is today.
Time follows the story of a young woman, showcasing various moments throughout her life. Starting from when she was a baby, up until she is grown, the piece aims to showcase the ways in which DStv has grown alongside her over the last three decades.
Singh has various accolades to his name, including recent international awards for the independent documentary film, Unwritten. He says he looks forward to continuing to push boundaries, exploring authentic stories, and producing significant pieces of work.
